Sommelier training
An exciting profession
A new beginning
It has always been my destiny, my vocation, to be a wine expert. For more than twenty years, I have been able to enhance the gastronomic experience of patrons of some of the world’s finest restaurants and since returning to my native region, I’ve been pleased to introduce wine lover to the delights of tasting wines from both the Val de Loire and other areas of France.
My studies and professional background are typical ; three years spent in the excellent Tours’ Hotel School, and then, with my diplomas and various stimulating and exciting training sessions under my belt (Le Fouquet’s in Paris, Le Ciro’s in Deauville), I was able to increase my knowledge through several very enriching experiences.
I began in France at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes, and then spent seven years in Switzerland in 5-star establishments such as the Intercontinental and the Noga Hilton in Geneva. This was followed by a year and a half spent in England; firstly at the Ashdown Park Hotel East Sussex, then the Richmond Hotel in Oxford. After England I was given the opportunity to experience a year on the other side of the Atlantic in Houston, Texas before returning to France where I worked in a 2-star Michelin restaurant in the ski resort of Val Thorens.
Now, with so many years spent practicing my art, enriching my knowledge and living my passion to the full, I have decided to change direction and begin exporting French wines.
